MANUAL OF THE SISTERS OF CHARITY

Commentaries & Feedback

Table of Contents

In the spirit of orders in the past, we must realize the value of poverty, chastity and obedience which are rooted historically in the Epistles and in Holy Tradition. This new order, new way of life, is a continuation. From the experiences of the First and Second Branch's of the past, the new third branch, the families, must draw from that experience of the previous rules, according to the necessities of their state in life of for the family. They must still practice poverty chastity and obedience.

This Manual is the daily tool and guide that the Sisters of Charity used. I hope it enlightens all in turn to live a holier life

Also, I have also included a copy of the letter from William Kamm that was sent out to the communities in 2001 to help understand poverty.

If you have any constructive feedback, we will be glad to post them here.
